We are proud to have been a key player in the XXVII Jornada Científica de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Panamá, held October 4-5 at the Pacific Theater and The Panama Clinic. This important event was organized by the Scientific Committee of the Medical Students Association of the University of Panama and the REDES Program, which reflects our strong commitment to research and scientific development in health.
Dr. Rodrigo DeAntonio, Cevaxin's Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientific Officer, participated as moderator in the research symposium and gave recognition to outstanding speakers, while our Director of Corporate Development, Dr. Javier Nieto, was a speaker at the REDEStalks, highlighting how research becomes a legacy of success and a key driver of healthcare investment in Panama.
The Scientific Conference was a resounding success, with the participation of future doctors and health professionals who presented a comprehensive program of workshops, conferences and lectures and the innovative REDEStalks format of the REDES program.
Wilyerson Quintero, a student at the UP School of Medicine, explained that it is not only a matter of “renewing health education”, but also of training the leaders of today and tomorrow; leaders capable of making evidence-based decisions, of critical thinking, of communicating ideas better, and, ultimately, of improving the quality of life and health of the population.
At Cevaxin, we are proud to be part of this effort and to work hand in hand with talented and visionary young people who will undoubtedly shape the future of medicine in Panama and beyond.
