On March 16, 2024, our executive director and scientist Dr. Rodrigo DeAntonio, participated as part of a select jury that evaluated nine (9) research protocols of the second edition of the REDES Program and for which the first three places were awarded with economic incentives for young people to advance in research.

The nine research protocols presented by the medical students of the University of Panama provide solutions to public health problems of strategic importance to the country and initiate or complement responses to advance prevention and care strategies.

We would like to CONGRATULATE all the participants and we are pleased to have renewed for the second consecutive year this important agreement of scientific and academic collaboration with the Medical Students Association of the University of Panama.

The REDES Program (Renewing Health Education) is part of the Cevaxin sponsorship agreement with the Association of Medical Students of the University of Panama and with the collaboration of the College of Physicians of Panama and the Center for Clinical Research of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama.
