On January 13, 2024, at the facilities of the National Hospital, the second edition of the REDES (Renewing Health Education) program began, with the participation as speaker of our executive and scientific director, Dr. Rodrigo DeAntonio, who highlighted, among other things, the value of soft skills in the role of a trainer, as part of the sponsorship agreement between Cevaxin and the Association of Medical Students of the University of Panama and with the collaboration of the College of Physicians of Panama and the Center for Clinical Research of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama.

The main objective of the REDES program is to develop competencies for the training of medical students of the University of Panama who wish to enter the world of research for the development of potential projects as part of health care programs in priority sectors for the generation of evidence to support the decision-making process in public health policies in Panama.

In this 2nd edition of the REDES 2024 program, 50 students from the medical school of the University of Panama will participate, who will be sharing for 10 weeks with experts and tutors about research methodology and soft skills to strengthen personal abilities.
