On February 24, 2024, at the facilities of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama, our executive and scientific director, Dr. Rodrigo DeAntonio, gave the Workshop Methodology II: Sampling and Sample Size, Randomization and Method of Data Collection to 30 students of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama who participate in the REDES 2024 Program.

The REDES Program (Renewing Health Education) is part of the Cevaxin sponsorship agreement with the Association of Medical Students of the University of Panama and with the collaboration of the College of Physicians of Panama and the Center for Clinical Research of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama.

The main objective of the REDES program is to develop competencies for the training of medical students of the University of Panama who wish to enter the world of research for the development of potential projects as part of health care programs in priority sectors for the generation of evidence to support the decision-making process in public health policies in Panama.
